Utah Animal Adoption Center Year End Donation

Dog Found on Bonneville Salt FlatsKelly arrived at Utah Animal Adoption Center last January. She was abandoned, cold, starving, and scared. She was dying a slow, painful, lonely death. An angel found her on the Bonneville Salt Flats and Utah Animal Adoption Center came to her rescue. UAAC gave Kelly daily medical attention and her fur grew back, and she started to feel and look like a dog again. This summer, Kelly found a home, a loving family… moreover, a new lease on life. One part of Kelly’s survival is our loyal and loving team. Another big part of her story is YOU! Your donations paid for all of Kelly’s medical needs.
Just like Kelly, so many animals in our shelter depend on your donations. This is Pistol Pete. He arrived to UAAC in the spring. Pete had been hit by a car and had surgery to repair some broken bones. Soon after Pete wasn’t healing from his surgery. So, he had to have another surgery. Within a few months, Pete had refractured them and this time his bones healed wrong. The vet indicated he wasn’t in pain and the additional damage was minimized. Fast forward almost a year, the last of the pins have been taken out and he now resides at our loving cat lead, Holly’s house. Holly has grown fond of Pete and the care she and all of our loving staff give our animals goes well beyond the normal shelter hours of operation. Pete is happy, he’s up to 14 pounds and is a huge fluff ball.
